Old barns make fantastic backdrops for engagement shoots. So when Scott and Erin invited me out to the family farm in Norwood Young America I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. Norwood Young America is just southwest of Minnetonka, MN. It was a beautiful evening but the winds were gusting well over 30mph. We started shooting inside the old barn to hide from the wind and it turned out to be great timing. The sun poured in and lit up the hay with a golden light- it was perfect. After Scott and Erin shared a romantic kiss in the hayloft we ventured out and finished up our e-session with a stroll around the farm. Erin and her hair took the wind in stride and we were able to capture some beautiful images. Their wedding is just around the corner in April, I can’t wait.
