It is a unique privilege to be a wedding photographer but when friends ask you to shoot their wedding it becomes a true honor. I’ve known John and Cathy since our college days at the University of MN, Duluth. They have been great friends through the years. I was humbled when they asked me to shoot their wedding.
Wedding days typically begin at a church, hotel, or maybe the country club but our day began with an early morning round of disc golf. Brian from Brian Bossany Photography and I joined the groomsmen at Lake Bryant for 18 holes to work out the early morning jitters. After disc golf, Brian stayed with the gentleman while I joined Cathy and the ladies at the hotel for hair, make-up, and Mimosas.
John and Cathy exchanged vows at the Eden Prairie Garden Room , the ceremony officiated by their childhood youth pastor. After the vows we headed to a nearby park to capture a few images with family and the bridal party. Later we had a few moments alone with John and Cathy and finished with some great photos.
