I nervously watched the weather forecast for several days before Chris and Nicole’s outdoor wedding. It looked ominous at best and Saturday morning began with pouring rain. Dark clouds gave little hope for an outdoor wedding. The clouds did part, allowing us to take advantage of blue skies for the pre-wedding photos at Como Park in St. Paul, MN. Afterwards, the bridal party joined guests at the historic Black Bear Crossing for the ceremony. The wedding itself was short but sweet. Amazingly, a rainbow appeared over Lake Como as Chris and Nicole exchanged vows. After the wedding the Como Conservatory reception hall was filled with laughs, dancing, and toasts. Outside, the clouds returned and the rain started pouring again.
